On the 4th anniversary of the coup there was a large gathering at Ratchaprasong in the city centre. However living near a former hotspot, I jogged round to take a look and found a straggle of protestors.

On the 4th anniversary of the coup there was a large gathering at Ratchaprasong in the city centre. However living near a former hotspot, I jogged round to take a look and found a straggle of protestors.
The evening turned out to be wet, very very wet, not ideal when we had a barbecue planned. However prior to that the clouds were stunning
It was quite curious for me to see the village cleaners raiding through bins for recyclable material such as bottles and cans. By random chance when walking up a (dead end) soi, I found the recycling place, and we were presently surprised at how much money we could get back.
The nearest decent market to our house, and one where you will not see foreigners. It is most definitely a local and authentic market, prices are good, and much more interactive than heading to Lotus.
