The cark park by the council car park is the best place to park, it was relatively empty when we visited. The 'Muang' in Bang Muang means purple, and the council are not shy about showing it off!
Boats of differing speeds were using the river. Most were small boats, not all with motors, but we did see some guys with jet skis which was totally at odds with the surroundings
The previous time we had visited this wat a celebration was ongoing and it was all but impossible to park in the car park. This time things were much quieter and we were able to explore easily. The most notable feature of this wat is a huge reclining Buddha.
