After eyeing a map I thought I noticed a way to get easily into the quiet roads on the west of the Chao Phraya river at Phra Namklao bridge. My hunch proved right, a narrow alleyway revealing a world of quiet rural roads drenched in low evening sunlight
After a coma of late night coding I decided to take a morning off and cycle around Koh Kret. I found an island empty of the usual weekend hoardes and was able to observe the locals at work living a lifestyle gone in much of the Bangkok area.
The magic of twitter brought four of us together to enjoy a lazy day's cycling in quet roads I had discovered in the Pak Kred area of Nonthaburi
Scanning satellite photographs is a good way of finding potential cycling routes. I scored another win, and also saw that the floodwaters had risen considerably around Pak Kred
